What attracted you to coach at Juventus Academy DC Metro?
“I’ve been a fan of La Vecchia Signora (Juventus FC) since I was 13 years old. Growing up, Alessandro Del Piero was my favorite player because he embodied leadership, loyalty, technical excellence, humility, and resilience. Those were qualities I admired as a young player and continue to value as a coach. Joining Juventus Academy DC Metro is a full-circle opportunity to combine my lifelong passion for the club with its player-centered developmental philosophy. My goal is to help young players develop confidence, resilience, strong character, and technical excellence while fostering a lifelong love for the game.”
How do you hope to inspire your players?
“I hope to inspire my players by helping them believe in themselves and develop a genuine love for soccer. I want to create an environment where every player feels encouraged, valued, and confident to learn and grow. My goal is to help them build strong technical skills while developing confidence, resilience, humility, and character. I believe technical skills and age-appropriate tactical concepts go hand in hand because strong technical foundations give players the confidence to make quicker decisions and build soccer IQ. Most importantly, I want soccer to be something players look forward to. I want soccer to be a lifelong passion rather than a chore. If my players leave each season with greater confidence, resilience, and a lasting love for the game, I’ll consider that a successful season.”
